Who can see your home file
You are handing us photographs of everything you own. Here is exactly how that is held — written plainly, and limited to what the product actually does today.
Your vault is yours alone
Every room, item and document is scoped to your account. Access rules are enforced by the database itself, not just the app, so another signed-in user cannot list or open your files even by guessing a link.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Uploads travel over TLS and are stored encrypted at rest in a private bucket. Files are never publicly addressable — viewing one issues a short-lived signed link that expires on its own.
Partners see only what you send
A realtor or broker who gifts you Aegis gets their banner on your dashboard and nothing else. They cannot see your items, values, receipts or documents unless you explicitly send a request or a breakdown.
Delete anything, any time
Remove a single item, a document, a whole room, or your entire home file from your account page. Deleting a document removes the stored file, not just the row that points at it.
We don't sell your data, and insurers don't pay us
Aegis makes money from subscriptions and partner gift codes. We take no insurer commissions and we do not sell, rent or broker your inventory to anyone.
