We built Aegis because memory is a terrible inventory
Most households discover the gap between what they own and what they can prove at the worst possible moment — sitting across from an adjuster, trying to recall the model of a television that no longer exists. Insurers pay on evidence. Aegis exists so that evidence is already gathered, valued and organized before you ever need it.
We built it for everyday, hard-working people: renters and first-time owners, families living on one income, and households in storm, fire and flood country. That shapes every decision — no appraiser required, no policy jargon, works on the phone in your pocket, and a free tier that genuinely documents a room. Aegis isn't insurance and never will be. It just makes sure ordinary people can prove what they owned when it matters most.
Your home file is yours
Everything you catalog is encrypted at rest and scoped to your account by row-level security. We never sell data, and we don't share your rooms, values or documents with partners.
Built for the worst day
Every feature is judged by one question: does this help on the day after a fire, flood or burglary? That's why exports, offline packets and adjuster shares came before anything cosmetic.
Honest about what we are
Aegis is documentation software, not insurance. We don't quote, bind, adjust or pay claims — we make sure you can prove what you owned and what it was worth.
What we actually do
Aegis turns a walkthrough of your home into a structured, room-by-room record: photos, receipts, serial numbers, purchase dates, replacement values and warranty dates. From that record we generate the things people actually need — an underinsurance read against your policy limits, an adjuster-ready claim packet, a warranty and safety calendar, and a secure vault for the documents that are hardest to replace.
We also work with realtors, insurance brokers and estate planners who gift Aegis to the households they serve. Partners get co-branding and their own portal; they never get access to a client's inventory, values or documents.
The company
Aegis is a product of Daquan Group, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We're a small, self-directed team — which means the person who answers your support email is the person who can fix the bug. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an Aegis account.
